Levelland radio station important part of community

LEVELLAND, TX (KCBD) - There's booming business here in Levelland, but you can actually find it just about anywhere. It's the High Plains Radio Network (HPRN).  

The small-market radio group started four years ago and runs KLVT radio which can be heard anywhere in the world with online streaming.

HPRN was quickly embraced by the community and there's good reason; they give a voice to Levelland and the rural areas.  "We truly believe in being involved. We believe in a live morning show and telling you the weather that you need to hear while you out on your tractor farming, broadcasting those sports that you want to see your kids playing in and just serving the rural markets," General Manager Tania Moody said. 

Moody says if it's happening in and around Levelland, they're covering it.  That includes every sport from volleyball to football.
