LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - The Hub City is commended for its wheelchair accessibility. Lubbock ranks 10th in a list of America's most livable cities for people living with paralysis.
That list was put out by the Christopher and Dana Reeve Foundation, in commemoration of the 20th Anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
The list took into account everything that would enable a disabled person to live a longer, fuller life. The list also includes medical services and recreation.
