LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - Last weekend, more than 1,000 helped raise money for the American Cancer Society during the annual Cattle Barons Ball. All those folks helped raise more than $284,000 for the cancer society.
The money will also help 108 kids go to Camp Alphie, a camp that keeps the family focus straight for children diagnosed with cancer and their families. To date, the Lubbock Cattle Barons Ball has raised more than $5-million for the cancer society.
