LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - The Lubbock County Sheriff's Investigators are looking into the death of a man found burning in a car early Saturday morning. Chief Deputy Cody Scott tells KCBD they were called out around 3:00 a.m. to Farm to Market Road 1294, near the intersection with Farm to Market Road 1729.
They say is appears 2000 Volvo veered off into a cotton field there and then caught fire. Authorities could only say the victim is an adult, white male. His identity will be determined after an autopsy; that's scheduled for Sunday.
