Local police warned, shooting suspect armed & dangerous

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - Lubbock area police and sheriff's deputies are told be careful and on the lookout for a homicide shooting suspect. 

The man is identified as Dewayne Slaughter, a Black male, 46 years old, driving a Black 2009 Camry with Texas license plates VFB 465.  Slaughter is considered to be armed and dangerous, and he's been quoted as saying he will kill himself if stopped by police. 

Slaughter has ties to Lubbock, Austin, Roundrock, Temple.  The shooting happened Wednesday in Houston.  If you see him in the Lubbock area you can call Crime Line at (806) 741-1000.
