LUBBOCK, TX – Texas Tech football has announced a few changes in regards to its preseason training camp that officially begins on Friday afternoon when both the varsity and freshman report to the Football Training Facility.
Texas Tech will hold its first two practices on Saturday and Sunday inside Jones AT&T Stadium. These two practices will be open to the public and fans are encouraged to enter through the visiting team tunnel which is located on the southeast corner of the stadium. All fans will be seated in the lower bowl of the stadium on the east side.
The first two practices will be the only ones open to the public for the remainder of training camp unless a special announcement is made. All other workout sessions will be closed. Texas Tech will begin workouts on the practice fields located adjacent to the Football Training Facility on Monday.
