Miracle Treat Day on the South Plains

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - We've been telling you on our news all day that a Blizzard at Dairy Queen Thursday was not just a great treat to beat the heat but a donation to the Children's Miracle Network.

So thank you if you bought a Blizzard on this Miracle Treat Day and our apologies if Meteorologist Cary Allen took your order, his first attempt at making a Blizzard took a messy turn.

In all, 23 Dairy Queens across the South Plains participated in Miracle Treat Day - with trained employees - who last year raised more than $16,000 for CMN.
