Above average temperatures settle on the South Plains

LUBBOCK, TX(KCBD)- Temperatures continue to be hot across the South Plains this week. Isolated to widely scattered  afternoon and evening thunderstorms are possible Monday and Tuesday.

High temperatures will climb into the middle and upper 90s with south-southeast winds at 10 to 15 miles per hours.

Temperatures should remain well above normal throughout most of the work week.
