LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - New information about the Benny Judah ponzi scheme has been revealed in court records. Judah is currently serving prison time; accused of tricking roughly 250 Lubbock area investors.
Of the $40 million or more he took from investors, there is about $2 million or more to pay them back, so most of their money is gone.
Most of the investors have agreed with a plan to pay back what little is left, but 20 investors do not like it.
There is a court hearing on August 30th for those investors.
