Fire destroys Lubbock County home

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) – A Lubbock County family has lost almost everything. Firefighters were called to the scene of a fire just before 8 p.m. Saturday night. Smoke billowed out of a home in the 3400 block of east F.M. 1585.

Crews from Woodrow and surrounding communities worked to the fight the fire that at one point completely engulfed the home. It is not clear how the fire started.
