POST, TX (KCBD) - The Garza County Sheriff's Office is still searching for a man who tried to sexually assault a woman in Post Monday afternoon.
The assault occurred around 3:45 p.m. Monday in Post, according to the Garza County Sheriff's Office. Right now they are unsure which direction the truck headed. On Tuesday afternoon, Chief Deputy Tommy Benford with the Sheriff's Office told KCBD NewsChannel 11 they don't want to release the address of the home where the assault happened.
Chief Deputy Benford says they are working on some leads and they are in contact with the company they believe leased out the truck the suspect was driving.
The man is described as an Hispanic male, with a dark complexion. He was last seen wearing a baseball cap and torn blue jeans, and he's driving what the victim described as a "meat truck" or small white pickup truck with red letters.
If you have any information, you are urged to call the Garza County Sheriff's Office at (806) 495-3595.
