Lubbock Area Foundation awards 22 teachers special grants - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - 22 area teachers received a special grant Wednesday to help get their year off to a good start.

The Lubbock Area Foundation awarded teachers with up to $1,000. These grants will help them carry out special projects, that they might not otherwise be able to do.

Coming up on KCBD NewsChannel 11 at 10, we will hear from some of those selected teachers and hear how they are going to spend their money.
