Lubbock Man Breaks Leg in Motorcycle Wreck

Forty year old William Thorne was driving on the access road near the 2300 Block of North I-27 just after noon. Thorne lost control of his 2000 Harley Davidson while trying to avoid debris in the road. He then hit a curb on the turn-around and came to a stop at a guard rail.

He was transported to Covenant Medical Center with a broken leg and a mild concussion. Thorne was not wearing a helmet.
