Casas for CASA wraps up

The 5th Annual Casas for CASA wrapped up Sunday with a drawing for the winners of five little houses.

The play houses are raffled off to raise money for the group that helps abused & neglected children. In Spanish the word "casa" means house, CASA is short for court appointed special advocates. Five winners were drawn at the South Plains Mall. Two were from Lubbock, two were from Brownfield and one was from Denver City.

"Everyday I saw our daily totals were higher than last year; so that's good. And a lot of people participated and we appreciate everyone who did," Rose Carkeet, with CASA, said.

Though the full scope of the investigation is not clear, the information requests make evident at least some of the areas that Mueller and his team of prosecutors intend to look into and also reveal a strong interest in certain of Trump's actions as president.
