The 2010-11 basketball season is shaping up to be the best in the Texas Tech coaching tenures of Pat Knight and Kristy Curry. Each team advanced to the NIT last season and welcomes back a talented nucleus of players that should help both squads make a push for the NCAA Tournament in the spring.
The Lady Raiders open the regular-season at home against New Mexico on Nov. 12, while the Red Raiders debut on the same day against Louisiana-Monroe. Tip times for both games have not been set.
