LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - The next time Kerri Cowley, 22, of Post, reports to a prison unit, it won't be her place of employment; instead it will be where she's locked up. Cowley was sentenced in Lubbock federal court on August 20th to 10 months. Cowley pleaded guilty in May to a corruption charge; admitting she accepted $450 in exchange for smuggling two cells phones to an inmate of the Giles Dalby Correctional Facility. Cowley had been a cook supervisor.
