C.R. 2300 (Ave P.) south of Lubbock to be closed

By James Clark | email

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - County Commissioners consider closing a one mile stretch of road.  Commissioners have County Road 2300 on the agenda between County Road 7500 and Woodrow Road.

The road in question is essentially Avenue P south of Lubbock city limits.  Commissioners will set a public hearing before making a final decision. Commissioner Patty Jones was not certain if the county is closing the road temporarily or permanently.

Attempts to reach other Commissioners and the County Judge on Sunday were not successful.
