LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) – United Supermarkets awarded record setting proceeds to the United Way Foundation from this year's Jackey Pierce Charity golf Tournament. The organization received a check for $200,000. United Supermarkets awarded record-setting proceeds from this year's tournament to the 14 United Ways which serve United Supermarkets' trade areas. Proceeds from this year's event exceeded last year's $167,000 award. Lubbock Area United Way received the largest check.
