LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - Students in the business management class at Lubbock High will now get real world experience, thanks to a partnership with the Lubbock Chamber of Commerce. 20 students will take part in the Junior Ambassadors Program.

Students will be involved in membership recruitment, ribbon cutting and groundbreaking ceremonies, and other special events.  "I'm hoping that whenever they go to the next level, and I see these individuals going into college, that they will be able to make presentations on the college level and feel very comfortable about it," LHS Business and Technology Teacher Rosa Llanas said.

Students will also help small businesses develop and maintain websites and write business articles.
