Lubbock man out on bond after being accused of seeking nude photos of child

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - A Lubbock man accused of attempting to solicit sex and nude pictures of a 7-year-old girl has bonded out of jail.

On Wednesday, 25-year-old Landon Quinn Wright was arrested after police say he asked a Hale Center woman for nude pictures of her 7-year-old daughter. He was charged with attempted sexual performance of a child, which is a second degree felony.

The woman says that she met Wright on a dating website. She says that he asked for the pictures after he found out that she had children and that is when investigators said he also asked about having sex with the child. The mother then called police.

Officer arrested him during a sting Wednesday morning when he went to pick up and pay $100 for the non-existent pictures at a home in Hale Center.

Wright was released on a $50,000 bond. If tried and convicted, Wright faces up to 20 years in prison and a $10,000 fine.
