LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - A crash victim is improving after a Saturday morning motorcycle accident at 34th and West Loop. Brandon Jodel Wood, 38, was originally in critical condition at University Medical Center. But by early Sunday evening he had improved to satisfactory condition. Police quote eyewitnesses as saying Wood was turning onto the Loop access road at a high rate of speed, when his bike skidded and then crashed into the overpass embankment.
