Father, son stabbed during fight at east Lubbock nightclub

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - Two people are hospitalized following a stabbing at a nightclub in east Lubbock. Witnesses say a father and son got into a fight around 2:00 a.m. Monday morning at the Thunderbird Lounge, located at 512 E. 23rd Street.

Police say the father suffered multiple stab wounds to his back. His son was stabbed in the head. Both men were taken to University Medical Center, where they were treated for moderate injuries.

Police were also trying to locate a third man who may have been involved in the fight. Anyone with information about the altercation is asked to call Crime Line at 741-1000.
