LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - Charges could be upgraded against a Lubbock driver because a woman died after falling off the hood of a moving car.

Police say Deborah Mota, 26, and her brother, Raymond Garcia, 24, got into an argument last Wednesday morning at a bar in the Depot District. When Garcia tried to drive away, Mota jumped on the hood of his car. She fell off near 15th and Crickets Avenue.

Mota died at University Medical Center two days later. Garcia is behind bars, charged with intoxication assault with a vehicle.  Lubbock police say charges could be upgraded to manslaughter charges.
