It's official, Lubbock's election results are accurate. On Friday Lubbock County Commissioners canvassed the votes to determine if the results were correct in the June 3rd, District 19, Congressional race. Here's a look at how Lubbock County voted in Tuesday's special election.
More than 26,000 people voted in Lubbock County. Lubbock candidate and now District 19 Representative, Randy Neugebauer received over 18,000 votes. Midland candidate, Mike Conaway received more than 7,000 votes.
Throughout District 19, less than 600 votes separated the two candidates at the end of the race.
