PLAINVIEW, TX (KCBD) - The Plainview Police Department and friends from across the community are holding a benefit concert on Friday to raise money to help get two families back on their feet. Korey Ferguson and Julian Garcia's families homes have both been victim to recent fires.
The concert will be held at the Ollie Liner Center. The Lubbock band Circus Bear Trickery will provide the entertainment, which will feature Texas-style country music.
Tickets for the concert are $15 per person or $25 per couple and include the concert, hamburger, fries, drink and dessert, as well as one chance at a raffle which includes a variety of donated items from local businesses.
Blankenship said additional tickets for the raffle will be sold for $3 each.

Love funds have been set up in Ferguson's and Garcia's name at Wells Fargo bank.
