Fun Day at Play Village

With the rain out of sight for a whole day, many people took advantage of the dry day by hanging out outside Sunday. Lubbock's Legacy Play Village had a full house on Sunday.

Dozens of children were running freely enjoying the sun shiny day. From swings to slides to monkey bars, the play village was the place to be.

"I guess cause my kids wanted to come out here, it's our first time to come out."

"I've just been playing with my friend Ashley, and we've been playing hide and go seek and just really fun games."

"There's a lot of fun stuff out here. We like going on the monkey bars and through the tower."

Kids of all ages enjoyed the play village Sunday as well as other parks across town.
