LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) –It's almost time for Miracle Jeans Day. Last year, the effort raised almost 10 thousand dollars for the Children's Miracle Network. Now is the time for businesses to plan ahead and sign up, so their employees can purchase these buttons to wear on September 15th. That will explain why they're wearing jeans at work, which is to support CMN, and to celebrate healthy children.
Kathy Reasoner, the development director for CMN at UMC, says "they pay $5 to be able to wear it, and it's a great program, and it's a win win win. The organization is giving back to the community...They have a lot of fun with it, and 100% of the funds raised from Miracle Jeans Day stays right here locally at UMC Children's Hospital, and it goes directly to children's services."
If your business would like to be a part of Miracle Jeans Day, you can get buttons for employees to wear next week explaining the fundraiser by calling 775-8250.
