Heroes honored at American Red Cross Champions Breakfast

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - Heroism on the South Plains was honored Friday morning at the third annual Champions Breakfast.

The South Plains Chapter of the American Red Cross hosted Friday morning's breakfast at he Overton Hotel. Every year, life-savers across the South Plains are honored for their heroism and service.

Throughout the South Plains community, ordinary people perform extraordinary acts of courage and selflessness that save lives. The American Red Cross South Plains Regional Chapter will identify and honor these local champions from our community at the Red Cross Champions: Honoring Lifesavers of the South Plains event.
