LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - The search for a Lubbock man wanted for two aggravated assaults is over.

Joshua Ladele Cobbs, aka "Tree" or "Crazy J" is accused of sending two women to the hospital with multiple stab wounds on September 7th. According to reports, the incident started with a bad breakup. Around 2:30 a.m., a woman called 911 saying a man stabbed her at a home near 26th and Avenue P.

The police report states that 21-year-old Alecia Logan and the suspect had been dating. Logan tried to break up with Cobbs, 29, when he stabbed another woman, 22-year-old Lanika Moore in the forehead.

Cobbs then stabbed Logan several times in the face, head, and once in the back as she tried to run away. The two women were taken to University Medical Center. Cobbs left the scene before police arrived.

Cobbs was arrested just before 5 p.m. Friday at what was formerly Showplace 6.
