Major Lubbock employer rises above recession slump

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) Great news from one of Lubbock's biggest employers; Xfab reports sales have almost doubled from last year.  Like so many other companies, Xfab saw lower sales because of the recession that started in late 2008.  For the first six months of this year Xfab sales are up 85 percent with a 78 percent increase comparing 2nd quarter 2010 with the 2nd quarter of last year.  The company released the latest numbers Thursday.  At last check Xfab employed more than 350 people in Lubbock.
