Pinkies to set up new liquor store, if permitted

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - Lubbock will soon get a new beer & package liquor store, if City Council approves this week.  Pinkies wants to set up at 412 Quaker Avenue which is less than 300 feet from Texas Tech real estate.  However, aside from a Texas Tech rodeo practice area there are no University buildings nearby.
