On weekend nights, cars used to line the streets and parking lots around University and South Loop 289 as club goers would arrive for a night of Country dancing. Now Lubbock residents will see traffic clear as Midnight Rodeo has closed its doors.
Midnight Rodeo has been kicking up heels for 15 years, but no more. Club spokesman Mark Easterling tells NewsChannel 11 that business has been slow for a while now, and they no longer keep up with the competition.
The once popular Country Dance Club closed its doors for the last time, this past Saturday.
