LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - A Lubbock County Grand Jury says there is enough evidence to send Eric Perez, 21 to trial for the murder of a man outside the Lubbock Memorial Civic Center. Grand jury member reached that decision Tuesday.
Perez is charged with the August 7th stabbing death of Danny Brazeal, 40. Court documents state Perez drank whiskey and prayed with Brazeal before stabbing him with a hunting knife.
Those same documents also state that Perez was looking for someone to kill and that he later confessed to stabbing. Perez remains jailed in Lubbock County on a $250,000 bond.
