Above average temperatures continue on the South Plains

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - This afternoon it will be partly cloudy, hot, and with a few isolated thunderstorms there will be a slight chance of rain. Storms that form will be strong. This afternoon's high will be in the low 90s.

Tonight look for a few isolated evening thunderstorms, otherwise it will be partly cloudy and warm, with a low in the mid 60s.

Thursday is will be partly cloudy and warm, and isolated thunderstorms are possible. Look for a high near 90 degrees.

Friday, look for partly cloudy skies, with a very warm afternoon, and a warm evening. Friday's high should be in the upper 80s to near 90.

Saturday it will be mostly fair, with a very warm afternoon and another warm evening, with a high in the upper 80s.
