Denver City Mustangs host Brownfield for homecoming - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

DENVER CITY, TX (KCBD) - Out in Denver City Friday the Mustangs host Brownfield for homecoming. It will be the homecoming and reunion for the 1960 Denver City team that won the State Championship 50 years ago. Congrats to that super squad.

That team was named the regional team of the century. There's a pep rally at 2 p.m. Friday as these State Champs will surely inspire the current group of Mustangs. Coach Terry Summers and Denver City face Brownfield Friday night with the State Champs from 1960 on hand.
