LEVELLAND, TX (KCBD) - South Plains College officials recently announced the fall enrollment numbers. As of the 12th day of classes, enrollment across all SPC campuses is 10,190 – more than 150 students compared to fall 2009's record enrollment of 10,036.
"The numbers are up at all of our campuses, and we continue to work in all areas to accommodate any student that needs South Plains College to reach their goals in higher education," said Dr. Kelvin Sharp, SPC President.
"It is important to show that community colleges play an important role in these economic times and that we are helping people pursue the jobs they want," he said.
South Plains College's also had record breaking enrollment in 2003 with 9,638 students.
"At South Plains College, we deliver a quality education at an affordable price and during these economic times, students are drawn to the opportunities that education and training can provide," Sharp said.
