18-Year-Old Lubbock Man Dies In Accident

A Lubbock teen is dead following a two car collision in West Lubbock Monday night.

It happened just after ten, at the intersection of Brownfield and Upland. Police say 18-year-old Timothy Bagget was a passenger in a car which failed to yield to an on-coming pickup. Baggett died at the scene. The driver of the car, 18-year-old Gary McMennamy is in satisfactory condition at University Medical Center.

The two people in the truck suffered minor injuries. Police say weather was not a factor in the accident.
