Posted By James Clark | email

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - Lubbock Police are asking for your help to identify a purse snatcher.  Investigators released a surveillance image from JC Penney's on Thursday.  It was taken in August; more specifically on the Friday of tax free weekend.   The victim says she set down her purse and then the woman depicted in the image came by and picked it up and walked out of the store.

Police describe her as having a light complexion, 5'7", 165 pounds, with brown hair.  If you know who this woman is, give crime line a call at 741-1000.
