Pilot Dies In Plane Crash at Brazoria County Airport

A 63-year-old pilot died Wednesday when his small experimental plane went down and burned at the Brazoria County Airport in Angleton.

The Texas Department of Public Safety identifies the victim as Stephen Naypaver from Pearland. The pilot was alone on the plane.

The Federal Aviation Administration says the accident involved an amateur-built, experimental aircraft. The cause of the late-morning crash is being sought.
