By James Clark | email

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - On Sunday evening, Lubbock area police, and sheriff's deputies were asked to keep an eye out for a missing elderly woman from Amarillo.

Sterline Secrist, 81, disappeared from a hospital parking lot late Sunday afternoon. Family members say she suffers from dementia.

However, late Sunday night KCBD NewsChannel 11 learned that Mrs. Secrist had been found on Hwy 70, near Vernon.

DPS troopers say she had run out of gas. She is said to be in good condition.
