LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -
LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - The Elmwood Recycling Center near Lubbock Christian University will close on Friday. The city says the location is privately owned, and they're not renewing a contract with the owner.
The city is now working to find a new location. In the meantime, the other two recycling drop-off centers in Lubbock will be open, along with the city's recycling stations.
Recycling drop-off centers are located at:
- Southside Recycling Center, 1631 84th Street
- Northside Recycling Center, 208 Municipal Drive
The city's four recycling stations are located at:
- Lowe's Grocery Store, 26th Street & Canton Avenue
- United Market Street, 50th Street & Indiana Avenue
- United Supermarket, 82nd Street & Frankford Avenue
- United Supermarket, 2630 Parkway Drive
