Credit card payments now accepted at Lubbock Courthouse

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - An upgrade at the Lubbock County Courthouse will make it easier to pay certain fines. A new computer system now allows people to use credit cards.

It can be used to pay for class c offenses, such as hot checks and speeding tickets. The equipment cost $2,000, and was paid for by a state technology fee on court filings.
