LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - Trucks are loaded and voting machines from Lubbock are off to Houston for the November elections.
On August 27th, a fire destroyed almost all of Harris County's voting machines. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
County Commissioners approved an agreement Tuesday afternoon allowing Harris County to borrow some of Lubbock's voting equipment. Commissioners also decided they will not charge Harris County for the machines.
