William Montae Reagor

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - Born June 29, 1977 in Waxahachie, Texas William Montae Reagor is a defensive tackle. He was drafted by the Denver Broncos in the second round of the 1999 NFL Draft.
He played college football at Texas Tech. Reagor was a starter at Texas Tech, and started in 41 of 44 career games. He holds a school record with 24.5 sacks and 47 tackles for loss. Reagor started every game as senior and had 96 tackles, seven sacks and 19 tackles for losses; he received All-America and All-Big 12 first-team selection honors.
Reagor spent four years with the Broncos, till he signed with the Indianapolis Colts in 2003. He stayed with the colts till 2006. In October 2006 Reagor was in an automobile accident on his way to a Washington Redskin game. He suffered a broken orbital bone and had to have stitches in the back of his head. Reagor was later put on injured reserve and missed the rest of that season. After the Colts won Super Bowl XLI, they terminated his contract in 2007, due to his severe injures.
Later in 2007 the Philadelphia Eagles signed Reagor. He was expected to help Philadelphia's revamped Defensive line. Due to his successful play and return from his severe injuries, Reagor was named as the Philadelphia Eagles recipient for the 2007 Ed Block Courage Award. He was released in the 2008 off season.
On Saturday, September 25th, Montae Reagor will be inducted into the Texas Tech Hall of Fame. His list of accomplishments, honors, and records are long. He is well deserving of the Texas Tech Hall of Fame with this impressive resume and overcoming obstacles.
