Six teens arrested Monday morning for multiple car burglaries

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - Six Lubbock teenagers are in custody for a rash of vehicle burglaries over the weekend.

Shift officers arrested the six teens, two of whom are juveniles, in the 2700 block of 64th street after a witness saw them burglarizing cars at the Indian Creek Apartments at 6402 Elgin.

According to the police report, the teens are linked to several burglaries and are facing multiple charges including burglary, organized crime, possession of identifying information and theft.

The teens arrested are: Damont Shamor Wilkerson, 18; Garret Jones, 17; Desmond Rashaud Trimble, 17; Q'vante Terell Cooks, 17. Police also arrested two juveniles. The four remained in the Lubbock County Jail with at $10,000 bond each.
