Hockley County needs workers for November elections

LEVELLAND, TX (KCBD) - Election officials in Hockley County are looking for lots of employees for the upcoming November elections.

Most of the workers are needed for the High Plains Underground Water Conservation District No. 1 election, which will be held in conjunction with the Nov. 2 general election. 48 election officials are needed to staff the 16 precincts in Hockley County. Election judges earn $10 per hour, alternate judges and bilingual workers earn $9 per hour.
