"I am relieved that this nightmare is over and my innocence has been made known. I am grateful that the justice system has worked on my behalf, clearing me of all the accusations of which I had no involvement.
Prior to this incident, I had been staying at my roommate's home for about three weeks while I looked for a permanent residence. The house did not belong to me, it was my roommate's home. With my coaching and teaching responsibilities, I left the house early in the morning and didn't return until late at night, so my time spent at the residence was very limited.
I had no knowledge of the illegal activity of which I was accused. I appreciate the support that I received from my family, friends and, co-workers during this horrific ordeal, and I am anxious to get back to my duties as a teacher and coach with the Lubbock Independent School District."
