Roscoe Wilson 2nd graders go "dog-crazy"

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - It will be a show and tell that some Lubbock ISD students won't soon forget. Second-graders at Roscoe Wilson Elementary will be able to bring their dogs to school, and not get into any trouble.

The students were assigned to find out some information about their dog; the breed, country of origin, and special characteristics which identify the breed and distinguish it from others.

The students will present their findings, and their dogs, to classmates, teachers and family members at 3 p.m. today at Roscoe Wilson Elementary.

The students were also asked to write a poem about their dog to share.
