LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - A central Lubbock accident in August of 2009 leads to jail time for a woman on Thursday.

Jessica Lynn Tanguma was booked into the Lubbock County Jail at the time and then bonded out. Police say she accidentally hit and killed 21-year-old Luis Hernandez. The problem is that she was accused of failing to stop and render aid.

She pleaded guilty Thursday and agreed to serve 120 days in jail plus 10 years of probation.

At the time of the accident, her attorney said she stopped but did not see that she had hit Hernandez.

Though the full scope of the investigation is not clear, the information requests make evident at least some of the areas that Mueller and his team of prosecutors intend to look into and also reveal a strong interest in certain of Trump's actions as president.
