Lubbock Grand Jury Indictments

In May, he led Lubbock Police on a chase, after Wal-Mart employees claimed he stole from the store and had a gun. Tuesday, a Lubbock Grand Jury indicted 39-year-old Cruz Nunez on Aggravated Robbery charges. The robbery happened on May 12th at the Wal-Mart at South Loop 289. Nunez fled the scene and ended up at a building at South Loop and Utica. About 80 employees of C.H.R. Solutions were evacuated. Nunez escaped once again. Police say a warrant will now be issued for his arrest.

A Lubbock Grand Jury also indicted three teenage girls for their alleged role in the car jacking, kidnapping and beating of a Lubbock woman. The girls were arrested on the morning of May 27th. According to police reports, the three girls forced a 20-year-old woman into the trunk of her car in the K-mart parking lot. Police pulled the car over a short time later. Two of the teens are 16-years-old, the third is 15.
